Imagine this: your entire music collection vanishes. All the CDs from every artist, every compilation, every piece of music you own, is stolen from you with no chance to get it back.

In a recent move, my entire CD collection of about 1,500 CDs - many rare imports - were stolen. Fifteen specially created nondescript boxes, all carefully packed in alphabetical and/or categorical order for quick and efficient unpacking, were gone. They were in the same shipment as thousands of dollars of stereo equipment packed in their original cartons, loudly advertising Panasonic, JVC, Sony and Klipsch. But audio equipment has tracking numbers, and someone opened the boxes of CDs and saw quick, easy, harder-to-track sources of cash.
